Mgm Steels Ltd Dhenkanal

Our setup for Mgm Steels Ltd Dhenkanal is currently located at Gandhi Chhak in Hemsurpara. We’re working out of a space care of A.K.Kar in Angul, Orissa. It’s a bit of a distance from the main steel plants, but this is where we handle the administrative side of things. Angul is an industrial town, and you can really feel that when you walk outside. There’s always a bit of grit on the windows and the sound of trucks passing by on their way to the factories. Our office is fairly basic. We have a few chairs for visitors and a long table where we sort through invoices and shipping orders. It gets very hot here during the summer, and the monsoon rains usually turn the roads into a bit of a mess. We don't have any fancy signs or a big glass front. It’s just a regular building where we sit and do our daily tasks. Most of the people working here have been in the steel industry for a long time, so we know how things move. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to coordinate deliveries or checking on production schedules. It’s not a quiet job, and there’s always something that needs urgent attention. We just take it one day at a time. The local chai stall at the Chhak is our main meeting point when we need to step away from the desk for a few minutes.
