L&T Ltd, Ecc Division

Our setup here in Assam is located in the village of Mirza, right near the Sri Bishnu Offset Press. Pankaj Kumar Sarma is the main contact here at the ECC division. We are operating out of a space provided by Mr. Kamaleswar Das. It is a very local feel, far from the big corporate hubs you might imagine. Being in the Kamrup district means we are right in the heart of things for the local projects we manage. The office is simple and gets the job done. We deal with a lot of logistics and local coordination from this spot. It is easy to find if you just look for the offset press nearby. The village life goes on around us while we handle the construction paperwork and site visits. Sometimes the weather in Assam can be unpredictable with the heavy rains, so we have to adjust our plans quite often. The staff here mostly consists of people from the nearby areas. We know the local landscape and the challenges that come with working in this region. It is a small but dedicated group. We do not have any big fancy signs. Most people just know where we are by word of mouth. It is just a practical base for L&T’s work in this part of the country. We keep our files in order and try to stay on top of the daily tasks.
