Econoadrift

Our business is based up in Ooty at 24/34, A-B, in the Cash Bazar area on Commercial Road. Ooty is a beautiful place, as most people know, and being on Commercial Road puts us right in the thick of things. Cash Bazar is always full of activity, especially with all the tourists who come through the hills. Econoadrift is the name we use for our work here. We are not a large company with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us in a cozy office space. Because space is tight in the bazar, we have to keep things very organized. The building is older and has that typical Ooty charm, though it can get a bit chilly in the winter months. We do not have any big mission statements or polished marketing materials. We just show up every day and get to work on whatever needs doing. Most of our time is spent talking to people or handling the day-to-day tasks that come with being in a busy market area. We like the fact that we can walk out the door and be right in the middle of the bazar. It feels like we are part of the community here. We do not use fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local business trying to make a living in the hills. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit slow, but we just make some tea and wait for it to pass before getting back to work.
