You’ll find us out on the Gundallapally Village Road, right in the Meddipadu Manadal area. It’s a quiet spot compared to the city, but it’s the right place for what we do. Hume pipes are big, heavy, and take up a lot of space, so being out here gives us the room we need. Our yard is full of these massive concrete tubes stacked on top of each other. It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know where you’re going. We spend our days outside mostly, checking the molds and making sure the concrete has set right. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually rough from the cement. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us near the crane or checking the ledger in the small shed we use as an office. The village road can be a bit tricky for the big trailers, so we spend a lot of time directing traffic. We’ve been here for a bit, and we know everyone around the Manadal. It’s not a high-tech life. We rely on the weather and the machines working like they’re supposed to. When it rains, the yard gets muddy and everything slows down. That’s just part of the business. We make pipes that go under roads and into fields, stuff people don't think about until they need it.
