Chinnu Photography

I run my photography work out of Palmaner. It is a small town, so most people know who I am just by my name. I don't have a huge studio with all the latest backdrops and lights. I usually take my camera and go wherever the event is happening. Whether it is a wedding or a small function at someone’s house, I just show up and start taking pictures. My home base is right here in Palmaner, and I do my editing on a regular computer in a corner of my room. It is not a big business with employees. It is mostly just me handling everything from taking the photos to handing over the prints or the digital files. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get everything sorted because I do it all myself. I don't use fancy words to describe what I do. I just try to capture what is happening in front of me. The light isn't always perfect and sometimes the background is messy, but that is how real life looks. People in Palmaner seem to like that I am local and easy to talk to. I don't have a big storefront with posters. Most of my work comes from people who saw photos I took for their relatives or friends. It is a simple way to make a living and I enjoy being part of the community here. I spend a lot of time looking at screens and walking around town.
