Al-Badeeu Agencies

Al-Badeeu Agencies is located on Gandhi Road, right beside the Ramalayam Temple. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise coming from the street outside. Being right next to the temple means we get to hear the morning and evening prayers, which adds a nice sort of rhythm to our workday. Our space is basically a storefront with a lot of storage area in the back for all the different goods we handle. It is not the most organized place in the world; there are boxes stacked almost to the ceiling in some spots, but we know exactly where everything is. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in looking for specific items. It is a pretty straightforward business. We buy things, we store them, and we sell them to whoever needs them. Sometimes we have to stay late to unload a shipment that arrived late because of the heavy traffic on Gandhi Road. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. Most people know us just by walking past or because they have been coming here for years. It is a bit cramped inside, and the fan makes a clicking noise, but it is our place and it works.
