Lakshmi Timber Plywoods

We are located at 1/155 A2 Trichy Road in Gandhinagar, right at the Irugur Pirivu in Ondiputhur. It is a very easy spot to find because of all the stacks of wood outside. The smell of sawdust is pretty much everywhere here. We deal with all sorts of timber and plywood. It’s heavy work, and we spend most of our time moving sheets of ply around for customers. The warehouse is a bit dark, but it keeps the wood out of the direct sun. We have a small desk near the entrance where we do the billing. It’s usually covered in dust from the yard. Trichy Road is always busy, so we get a lot of people just stopping by to see what we have in stock. We don't really have a sales pitch. People tell us what they are building, and we show them the different thicknesses we have. We’ve been at this Ondiputhur location for a long time. The roof leaks a little in the corner when it rains hard, so we have to move the stock around to keep it dry. It’s just part of the job. My sons help out with the loading and unloading. We don't use fancy forklifts; it’s mostly just muscle and some old rollers. It’s a basic business. We sell wood, and people buy it. We don't try to make it more complicated than that. It is just honest, daily labor.
