Gayathri Granites

We’ve been here in Karuppur for quite some time now. Most people know us because we are right near the Babu Ioc petrol pump. It’s a busy spot but we like it that way. When we first opened Gayathri Granites, the land around here looked a lot different than it does today. We mostly just keep a good stock of granite slabs and tiles for people building their houses nearby. It is a lot of heavy lifting and the sun gets pretty hot out in the yard during the afternoons. Our workers have been with us for years and they know how to handle the stones without much fuss. We don't really do fancy advertisements or anything like that. People just stop by when they see the slabs lined up from the road. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty, especially when the trucks are coming in to unload new material from the quarries. We try to keep things organized but a stone yard is always going to be a bit messy. You can usually find one of us sitting in the small office cabin if you need to ask about prices or what’s in stock. We get all sorts of customers, from big contractors to folks just looking for a piece of stone for a small shelf. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We just focus on getting the slabs out to where they need to go.
