We've been at this spot in Obra for a while now, right near the Sharda Mandir Road. It’s a busy little area, especially being so close to the Degree College. You know how it is in Sonebhadra, things can get pretty dusty and hot during the summer months, but we just keep at it. Our office is tucked in with R.N. Gupta’s place. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. It’s just where we handle all the engineering paperwork and coordination for the projects around here. Most days involve a lot of phone calls—that’s why we have the 263173 landline, though sometimes the connection acts up when the weather is bad. People around here know the landmark well. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting the technical stuff sorted. If you walk past the college, you’ll likely see our sign. It's a practical setup. We handle the local engineering needs without making a big fuss about it. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we’re used to the pace of life in this part of Uttar Pradesh. Sometimes it feels like the town is growing faster than the roads can handle, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve seen a lot of changes on this street over the years. It stays noisy during school hours, then things quiet down in the evenings. We’re just regular folks doing our jobs here every day.
