Living and working in Obra Town means you get used to the pace of the block. We are located near Vip Road, which is a spot most locals can point out if you get lost. Ms J P Yadav is basically a small operation run by a few of us who grew up around here. It isn’t some big corporate thing. We just show up every day, get the shutters open, and start on whatever work is piled up from the day before. The area can get a bit noisy with the vehicles going toward the main road, but we don’t mind it much anymore. We spend a lot of time just keeping track of things and making sure nothing gets misplaced. If someone comes by, we usually just chat for a bit while we help them out. There isn’t a front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and find whoever is available. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of working. We don’t have a fancy logo or a big sign, just the name and the address where we’ve been for quite some time. We handle the paperwork ourselves and try to keep things as straightforward as possible for everyone. It’s just how things go in Obra and we like it that way.
