Vaibhav Plasto Printing & Packaging Pvt. Ltd. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of the ink. It’s thick and stays with you even after you go home. We have these big printing presses that take up most of the floor space, and they make a rhythmic thumping sound that you start to tune out after an hour or so. We do a lot of plastic packaging, so there are rolls of film and bags stacked up in every corner of the room. It can get a bit cluttered, especially when we have three or four big jobs going at once. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone in a suit walking around. It’s mostly just us in our work shirts, making sure the colors on the plastic don't bleed and that the seals are strong enough to hold whatever goes inside them. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the afternoon with a wrench trying to get things back on track. We eat our lunch together at a small table in the back, usually talking about the traffic or what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a busy life here, and there’s always a bit of dust and scrap material on the floor by the end of the shift. We just sweep it up, shut down the power, and get ready to do it all over again the next day.
