Insulation is one of those things that stays hidden behind walls or wrapped around pipes, so nobody really looks at it. But we look at it every single day at Srinivasaa Insulation. We work with materials that keep buildings cool when the sun is beating down or keep the heat inside when it’s cold out. It’s itchy, dusty work sometimes, depending on what we are handling that day. We’ve got a small crew that knows how to handle the different types of foam and fiberglass without making a huge mess of the site. Most of our days are spent loading up the van or sitting at the desk figuring out how much material a project is going to take. We try to be as accurate as possible so we don't end up with a bunch of waste. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just a warehouse and a couple of phones that never seem to stop ringing. We’ve been doing this long enough that we can usually tell what a building needs just by looking at a few photos. It’s not something you learn in a book, it’s just from being on the job for years and seeing what works and what doesn't. We just take it one job at a time, making sure we don't leave a mess behind when we pack up our tools and head home. It can get pretty hot in the summer but we deal with it.
