Dealing with industrial adhesives is a lot messier than it sounds on paper. At SIA Industrial Tapes & Adhesives Pvt. Ltd., we spend our time dealing with different types of glues and specialized tapes that factories use. It is not the kind of stuff you would buy at a corner store for a quick school project. This is for much bigger things. Our days are usually filled with the smell of chemicals and the constant sound of tape dispensers. We are a small team, really. We do not have a PR department or a marketing manager to handle our image. We just know our products very well. If someone calls and asks for a specific adhesive strength, we usually know exactly which shelf to look on. It is a lot of technical information, but we prefer to talk about it in plain English. We have been in the business long enough to know what works and what does not work. Our workspace is not very pretty to look at; it is full of metal drums and wooden crates. We do not really care about being the leaders in the field or anything like that. We just want to get the daily orders right so people can do their work. It is a steady job and it keeps us occupied. Sometimes a shipment is late or a machine breaks down, and we spend the whole afternoon with a wrench in our hands. That is just how life is here.
