Shreyas Auto Parts

Over at Shreyas Auto Parts, things are usually a bit greasy. We spend our time looking through catalogs and searching the shelves for specific car bits. It is the kind of place where you have to know where every little bolt is kept. We don't have a fancy storefront. It is mostly just rows of metal shelving and a heavy counter where we talk to customers. People come in with parts that are broken or worn out, and we try to find the replacement that matches. My hands stay dirty for most of the shift because of the oil on the metal parts. We have a lot of gaskets, plugs, and engine components tucked away in boxes. The air smells a bit like rubber and old metal. We don't have a lot of room to move around, so you have to be careful not to trip over the crates on the floor. It is a simple way to spend the day. We have a small bench in the back where we can sit and eat our lunch. Sometimes we have to call around to different suppliers to find something we don't have in stock. It can be a lot of waiting on the phone. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It is just a practical shop for people who need to fix their vehicles. We just keep the parts organized as best as we can and help the people who walk in through the door.
