Working at Samara India Bearing Pvt. Ltd. means dealing with a lot of logistics and supply chain stuff. We are mostly focused on bearings, which are essential for just about anything that moves in a machine. We have a lot of different clients, from small repair shops to some larger industrial plants. Most of our work happens in the warehouse or on the phone, trying to track down specific parts that a customer is asking for. It’s not always easy because there are thousands of different types of bearings out there. We’ve had to learn a lot over the years about which ones work best for different applications. Our office is a practical space. We’ve got computers and filing cabinets and a lot of industrial catalogs that are starting to look a bit worn out from use. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on making sure our inventory is accurate and that we are getting things shipped out when we say we will. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck getting delayed or a shipment being short, and then we have to spend the day fixing those problems. It’s a regular job with plenty of challenges. We’ve built up a decent reputation just by being consistent and showing up every morning to get the work done.
