S. Doshi Papers Industries Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle a lot of paper-related work every single day. We don't have a fixed street address listed in some of the older records, but we’ve been part of this industry for a long time. Our work involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy rolls or stacks of paper. It’s a dusty business, honestly. You find paper scraps in your pockets at the end of the day. The machines we use are loud and they require constant maintenance to keep them from jamming up. We aren't a big corporation with a tall glass building. We’re just a group of people who know how paper behaves when you cut it or fold it. We deal with various types of stock, from the thin stuff to the heavy boards. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to scramble to catch up, which means staying late on a Friday. We don't mind too much because that's just how the business goes. We talk to our suppliers a lot and try to keep enough material on hand so we don't run out. It’s a bit of a juggling act. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers because that’s what we are comfortable with using. There’s something about the weight of a physical book that makes more sense to us than a computer screen sometimes.
