The name Piku Industries comes from a family nickname, and that’s pretty much how we run things here—like a small family. We don't have a massive factory with hundreds of people. Instead, it’s just a group of us making things. We handle various industrial tasks depending on what the current orders are. The workshop is often cluttered because we are always in the middle of three different things at once. We’ve got benches for assembly and a few machines that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have a fancy office because the real work happens on the floor. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch, and other days things go smoothly and we can head home early. There isn't a lot of mystery to what we do. We take raw materials, use our tools, and turn them into finished products. We don't use big words to describe our process. It’s just about being careful and making sure we don't waste materials. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar with delivery dates circled in red. It’s a simple way to earn a living and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. We hope to keep the workshop open for many years and keep doing what we do.
