We've been running the looms here at Nutek Weavers for a while now. Most days it’s just about keeping the machines oiled and making sure the threads aren't snapping every five minutes. It gets pretty loud on the floor when everything is running at once, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle a lot of different fabric orders, mostly just sticking to what we know works. Sometimes a batch comes out a bit different than expected, but we sort it out before it goes anywhere. It’s honest work, really. My cousin helped start the place, and some of the guys have been here since the beginning. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a shop floor and some storage space for the rolls. Usually, we're just focused on getting the orders loaded onto the trucks by Friday. If you stop by, you'll probably find us covered in lint or trying to fix a tension setting on one of the older machines. It isn't always pretty, but the fabric is solid and it keeps people busy. We just keep our heads down and do the job day after day. It's nothing flashy, just a group of us working with what we’ve got to make sure the customers get their stuff on time. We try to keep things simple and avoid overcomplicating the process whenever possible.
