KRISHNA ENTERPRISES is over at 8/78, Mitra Nagar on Gular Road in Aligarh. If you know Aligarh, you know Gular Road is a busy spot. We've been in this building for a long time. It’s an old place with high ceilings and thick walls. We do various types of hardware and general enterprise work. Aligarh is famous for locks and metal work, so we fit right in. The shop front is usually busy with people coming and going. We have crates stacked up everywhere. I usually sit at a wooden desk near the entrance. It’s a bit messy with papers and samples, but I know where everything is. My nephew helps me with the digital stuff because I’m not very good with computers. We have a few guys in the back who handle the heavy lifting. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite bright. We keep the shutters half-down to stay cool. It’s a steady pace of life. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. Sometimes the traffic on Gular Road gets so bad we can't even get the delivery rickshaw out, but we just wait it out. It's just part of being here. We have an old radio that stays on most of the day, playing local stations. It fills the gaps when we aren't talking.
