If you go down to the Golani Complex on Garwal Hospital Road in Vasai-east, you’ll find us at Plot No 6/7. This part of Maharashtra is always moving, and our factory is no different. JDIANM LIGHTING PRIVATE LIMITED is basically a bunch of us working with lights and all the parts that go into them. It is a bit of a maze in this complex sometimes. We have boxes piled up and components all over the tables. It isn't the quietest place to work, but we like it that way. We spend a lot of time testing things to make sure they actually light up. You’d be surprised how much goes into a simple light fixture. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our day is just spent on the floor, looking at assembly lines and talking to the suppliers who drop off the metal and plastic parts. The area around Vasai-east is quite industrial, so we fit right in with the other shops and units around here. We just try to get the orders out the door without too much fuss. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the list of things to do. We just do the work and try to keep the lights on for everyone else. We started out small and just kept going because we liked the work.
