Insolate Solar is where we work on getting people set up with sun power. It’s a lot of outdoor work, so we’re always checking the weather on our phones. If it rains, we can't do much on the roofs. We’re a small team. We spend most of our time out at job sites rather than in the office. The office is really just for filing papers and keeping the equipment safe. We don't have a big sales pitch for anyone. Usually, people just see what we did for their neighbor and give us a call. We carry a lot of heavy panels around. It keeps us in shape, I guess. We’ve learned a lot about how the sun hits different buildings over the years. It’s not always a perfect science. We just try to find the best spot for the installation. We aren't corporate types in fancy suits. We wear boots and hats because of the sun. It’s a Private Limited company, but it feels more like a family business. We talk to our customers like regular people. We don't use big words to confuse anyone. If the panels are making power, we’ve done our job. It’s satisfying to see a system turn on for the first time. We just keep doing one house or building at a time. It’s honest, hard work under the sky. Sometimes we get a bit sunburned but that is part of the life. We enjoy being outside more than sitting at a desk.
