Gee Kay Safety Products

We’ve been running Gee Kay Safety Products for a good while now. The warehouse gets pretty dusty with all the boxes of gloves and safety vests stacked up to the ceiling. It isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular door and some windows that probably need a good wash. Inside, there’s usually three or four of us moving things around or checking the inventory lists against what’s actually on the shelves. Most days start early with a cup of tea while we look at what needs to go out. We handle a lot of different things, like those heavy-duty boots and various kinds of masks that people need for work. The floor is concrete and stays cold even when it’s warm out. Sometimes the delivery trucks show up all at once and the whole place gets crowded and loud for an hour. We don't have a big fancy office, just a couple of desks tucked in the back where the phone rings more than you’d think. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure we don’t lose track of where everything is kept. By the time evening comes, we’re usually tired and ready to head home, but there’s always more stuff arriving the next morning. It’s a busy spot and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss. We try to keep things simple because that’s what works for us in this trade.
