Doshi Brothers Marketing Pvt. Ltd. is basically what the name says. It’s a family-run thing that turned into a proper private limited company over the years. We spend most of our time dealing with distribution and making sure products get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking manifests. Sometimes the warehouse gets crowded and we have to move stuff around just to find a bit of walking space. We handle a variety of goods, depending on what the market is asking for at the time. It’s not always glamorous work. Some days involve just staring at spreadsheets and making sure the numbers add up. My brother and I have been doing this for a long time, so we’ve seen the market go up and down. We’ve learned that the most important thing is just showing up and doing the work. We don’t have a big marketing team for ourselves; we are the marketing team for the products we carry. It’s practical work. If a shop needs stock, they call us. If a manufacturer needs a way to get their stuff out there, they talk to us. We’ve had some long nights in the office when a big shipment comes in late. That’s just part of the job. We keep things simple here. No big speeches or fancy slogans, just the daily routine of moving goods and keeping the business running.
