Al Hind A Mewat Foundation

We started Al Hind A Mewat Foundation right here in Vill. Kherly. It’s a quiet place in the Nuh district. You can find us at Sahukar’s house, he's Kamruddin’s son. We aren't a big office with fancy lights or anything. Just some local people trying to get things done in our own neighborhood. The village life is slow but we keep busy with the work at hand. Most days involve just sitting down and figuring out what needs doing next. We don't have a big staff. It is mostly just us. Sometimes the weather gets really hot here, but the work doesn't stop. People know where we are if they need to stop by. We aren't hard to find since everyone knows the Sahukar family. It’s just a simple setup. No big signs or billboards out front. We just use what we have and try to help where it makes sense. It’s been a while since we set up shop in this part of Nuh. The roads can be a bit dusty depending on the season. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing fancy reports. Most of our time goes into the daily tasks around the foundation. It feels right being located in Kherly instead of some big city far away. It keeps us close to what’s actually happening on the ground. Sahukar and his family have been here for generations, so that helps people trust us. We aren't trying to sell anything or make a big name for ourselves. We just want to be useful in this little corner of Haryana.
