Our little travel office is right here in Bhubaneswar. We don't have a fancy storefront with neon lights, just a simple space where we help people figure out where they want to go. Whether it is a quick trip nearby or something further away, we spend our time looking at routes and checking schedules. The name says Texas, which people ask about sometimes, but we are firmly planted here in Odisha. Dealing with tours and travel means things are always changing. One day we are looking at bus timings and the next we are trying to find a good spot for a family to stay. It gets busy during the holiday seasons, and the phones won't stop ringing. In the quieter months, we sit back and reorganize our files. It’s a lot of talking to people and trying to make things fit their plans. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, which can be annoying when someone is waiting for an answer. We try to be helpful without being pushy. Most of the people who come to us are just looking for a bit of help so they don't have to worry about the details themselves. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go through our doors over the years. It’s a nice way to spend the day, hearing about where people want to travel and seeing them head off on their trips.
