Sukanya Spice

Sukanya Spice is set up at Plot No. C-61, in Sector-3 of Damanjodi. Our place is near the Shiv Mandir, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. Living and working in Damanjodi is fairly quiet compared to the big cities. We deal with spices every single day. The work involves a lot of cleaning, sorting, and making sure everything is stored properly so it doesn't lose its scent. The plot we are on isn't very large, but we've organized it to fit everything we need. It’s mostly family and a couple of helpers who keep the place running. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of those things. Most people find out about us just by living nearby or passing the temple. Sometimes the rain in this part of the country makes things difficult, especially when we are trying to dry things out or move bags around. We just do our best with what we have. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes the floors are a bit dusty from the spice sacks, but that’s part of the job. We enjoy the routine of it. We open up early, check the inventory, and handle whatever comes our way. There’s no corporate ladder here, just people working with their hands to get the product out. It’s a basic life, but it suits us fine.
