We’re tucked away on NSM School Road at house number 71-2-28. If you’re around this part of Vijayawada, you’ve probably seen our trucks or smelled the fresh catch coming in. Dealing with seafood means we start our days very early, often before the sun is even up. There’s a lot of ice involved, and the floors are almost always wet. We spend a lot of time cleaning and prepping whatever the day's haul brings in. It’s cold work, and your hands get pretty numb after a while from handling the frozen and chilled products. We don't have a polished office with nice carpets because they wouldn’t last a day here. It’s all about the drains, the stainless steel tables, and the cooling units. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job, whether it’s sorting the shrimp or checking the weight of the fish. It’s noisy with the water running and people shouting to be heard over the machinery. We don't do anything fancy with our packaging; we just make sure it’s sealed right and kept at the right temperature. Sometimes things get hectic when a big shipment arrives all at once, and we all have to jump in to help. It's not a pretty job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most of the locals know us as the seafood guys on the school road. The kids from the school pass by every afternoon, so it’s always lively.
