We run things out of our office here in Vijayawada, specifically at H B Colonybhavanipuram. It’s an old MIG area. Most people around Krishna know where we are if they look for the D.No.76-53-91/3 mark. Tomonpo Anglong Organic Producer Company Limited is basically a group where we handle organic stuff. It gets busy here during the week with paperwork and people coming in and out. Sometimes the air in Andhra Pradesh gets real humid, and we just keep the fans going while sorting through what needs doing. We aren't a big fancy corporation with glass walls. It's just a regular building where we try to get things sorted for the producers. Being in Vijayawada helps because the transport is decent enough. Our address is kind of a mouthful to say over the phone, but once you find Old Mig, it’s not too bad. We spend a lot of time talking to local folks about their crops and how the organic side of things is moving along lately. The coffee gets cold on the desk while we talk, but that is just how it goes. We started this because there was a need for it in this part of AP. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of the boxes and the labels. Nothing too complicated, just daily tasks that pile up. We like being part of the 520012 area code because it feels like home to most of us working here.
