We are based in Vidyadharapuram on Aravinda Street, right in the heart of Vijayawada. The address is 1-3/24-1a, which is easy to find once you get into the neighborhood. It’s a typical urban street, plenty of noise and people moving around. Our foundation office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for folks to just walk in. We have a couple of desks and a small area where we keep our files. Vijayawada is always bustling, and our street is no different. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in with questions. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a lived-in space with some old calendars on the wall and a lot of notebooks. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we plan out the next week. It’s a small group of us here, and we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning the floors to handling the accounts. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just know what needs doing and we try to do it. The humidity can be a bit much sometimes, but we keep the fans going and stay focused. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we wouldn't want it to be any other way. We’re just part of the neighborhood, trying to be helpful.
