Karma20 Empowerment Foundation

Over in Penuganchiprolu, on Shivalayam Street, you will find the Karma20 Empowerment Foundation. Our address is H.No-5-101. It’s a quiet street most of the time, near the temple. We aren't a big city foundation with lots of money. We are just a local group. We like getting things done without a lot of talking. We don't use corporate jargon or have fancy presentations. We just sit on the porch or in the small front room and discuss what needs to happen. Maybe it's helping someone in the village or organizing a small event. It's all very local. We know everyone on Shivalayam Street, and they know us. We don't have 'clients,' we have neighbors. Sometimes we don't even have a set schedule. We just work when there is work to be done. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for Penuganchiprolu. We don't try to look important. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. The building at 5-101 is simple, and so are we. We don't have a big statement on the wall, just a sense of duty to the people around us. If you’re ever near the temple, you’re close to us. We’re just here doing our part for the community, one day at a time. It’s just us, working through the heat and the quiet days. We hope to keep this going as long as we can. It is what it is.
