Our place is on Pedapulipaka Road in Tadigadapa, which is a little bit away from the main center of Vijayawada. We are in the Krishna district, and the area is mostly a mix of houses and small businesses. We handle gifting items and hotel amenities, so the office is often cluttered with boxes and samples of different products. You might see soap sets or small towels sitting on the desks. It is a practical workspace, nothing like those modern glass buildings you see in the big cities. We start our day early before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with suppliers and checking our inventory takes up most of our time. Sometimes the fans are not enough when it really heats up outside in the summer. We know the delivery drivers who come by every afternoon to pick up orders. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when there is some construction happening nearby. We have a small team and everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it is answering the phone or helping move a heavy box of supplies. It is a bit of a trek to get here from some parts of the town, but we like the spot. It is quiet enough to get our work done but close enough to the main roads to move our goods around. We are just regular people making a living.
