You can find the Rsgsewa Foundation at Poonam Gupta’s place, located in Sarju Nagar right off Poni Road in Unnao. It is near the main part of town but tucked away enough to be relatively quiet. The address is 209861 for anyone looking at a map. We have a small office space there that we use for all our administrative work. It’s a straightforward setup with a couple of chairs, a desk, and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything. The room has a large window that looks out onto the street, so we can see people passing by all day. Unnao is a place where things move at their own pace, and we’ve adapted to that. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; usually, one of us just hears the knock and opens the door. It’s very much a grassroots kind of environment. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we end up doing more pen-and-paper work than we planned, but it all gets done eventually. We like being on Poni Road because it’s a central enough spot for most people to reach us without too much trouble. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where the chai is always hot, which helps on those long afternoons when the paperwork seems to never end. It’s just a normal office run by normal people who live nearby and care about what they do.
