We are over here in Jawahar Nagar, specifically Lane Number 05, House 28. It’s a busy enough spot, and we’ve been operating out of this house for a bit now. The group is mostly about getting people together to manage what we produce locally. We aren't a big corporation with fancy talk; we are just neighbors trying to make the work pay off better. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we figure it out as we go. We mostly focus on making sure the stuff we make gets to where it needs to go. Living in Srinagar, you get used to the rhythm of the seasons, and our work follows that too. When things are busy, the house is full of people coming and going, talking about orders or how to improve the next batch. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be around to talk. It started because a few of us realized we could do more if we joined up instead of trying to handle everything alone. It’s hard work, and sometimes the electricity goes out or the roads get blocked, but that’s just how it is living here. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the job done and keep our families going. It’s simple, honest work that happens right here in the neighborhood. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so people know exactly where to find us when they need something. It's just home.
