This whole area has a long history with cattle, and we are just trying to keep that going in a way that works for today. Breeding is a slow business. You can’t rush it, and you have to pay a lot of attention to the details of each animal. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together here on North Street. It’s not a fancy setup. Our building is simple, and the street can get a bit crowded with people and carts, but it’s where we belong. We spend our days checking on the health of the herd and talking to other members about their livestock. It’s a lot of walking and a lot of waiting.
