We are located at No.345/1 on North Street in Valavampatti Village. It is a quiet place and mostly people here know us just by the building. Pudukkottai Thondaiman Farmer Producer Company Limited was started because there are so many farmers around this post and we needed a way to work together. Most of our days are spent talking to the local folks who bring in what they grow. It isn’t a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. We have a simple setup where we keep track of the crops and try to figure out the logistics of getting things moved. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, or the roads get a bit messy, but that is just how it goes in the village. People come by, have some tea, and we talk about the harvest. We don't spend money on big ads. Usually, if someone needs us, they just walk down North Street and find the door. It is a group effort really. Every person who is part of this producer company has a stake in how things turn out. We just try to keep things organized so the work gets done and the produce doesn't sit around for too long. It is a lot of manual work and checking papers, nothing very fast-paced like the city. We’ve been here for a while and the community knows where to find us.
