Muthulakshmi Integrated Farms Private Limited

Our place is at number 33 on North Pillaiyar Koil Street. You’ll find us in the Nadu Tittu area of Keela Ermalpuram. We call the business Muthulakshmi Integrated Farms Private Limited. It’s basically a family-run operation. We have been here for years, and the neighbors all know us. The farm work takes up most of our hours, so the office on North Pillaiyar Koil Street is usually just for the bookkeeping. It’s a small building, nothing special. We have some trees out front that give good shade during the hot afternoons. We do a bit of everything on the land, which is why we went with the integrated name. It’s just easier to handle different things at once. My uncle started this, and now a few of us keep it going. The paperwork can be a headache, especially with the private limited labels and all that, but we get through it. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just grow what we can and sell it where we can. If you walk down the street in Keela Ermalpuram, you’ll see our gate. It’s usually open unless we are all out in the back fields. Sometimes the goats from next door wander in, but that’s just life here. We like the quiet of this street. It feels like home because it is home. We often sit on the porch to discuss the next harvest when the sun starts to go down.
