Ex-Para Canteen Private Limited is located in North S.K Puri, inside the Shiv Mitra Residency on Vivekanand Marg. We are in Flat No-1004, Block-A. It’s a bit of a different setup because we operate out of a residential building. The name comes from our background, and we wanted to keep that spirit alive here in Patna. We aren't a public restaurant where you can just walk in off the street for a table. It’s more of a canteen service that we run for a specific group of people. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing bulk meals. The smell of cooking travels through the hallway sometimes, but the neighbors are mostly okay with it. We keep things very organized, almost like a military operation, because that’s what we know. There are no fancy decorations or soft lighting here. It’s all about getting the food ready on time and making sure it’s filling. We source our grains and vegetables from trusted local vendors. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to work hard. North S.K Puri is a nice area, and being in Shiv Mitra Residency gives us a good base to work from. We don't do any advertising. People who need our services usually find us through word of mouth. It's a straightforward business with no hidden extras. We wake up while most of the city is still sleeping to get the big pots started. It’s satisfying work.
