Our office is located at W.Z.- 239 in Shakur Pur Village, which is a busy part of Delhi. We operate under the name Sunita Kohli Interior Design Pvt. Ltd., but we’ve always tried to keep a very grounded approach to our work. Being in a place like Shakur Pur means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a lively neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside our doors. We spend most of our time working on various interior projects across the city. It’s a mix of sitting at desks drawing up plans and going out to meet with the people who are actually doing the building. Delhi is a tough city to work in sometimes because of the logistics and the sheer size of it, but we’ve been at it for a long time. We don't really go for the high-pressure sales tactics or the polished corporate image. We’d rather just show up and do the work. The office can get a bit crowded with all the material samples and the rolls of blueprints we have lying around, but it works for us. We’ve seen a lot of trends come and go, but we usually stick to what we know works for the people living here. It's a lot of long hours and sometimes a bit of frustration with delays, but that is just part of the everyday life here. We just take it one project at a time.
