You can find us at House Number 39 in Anand Vihar, which is part of the Pitampura area in North West Delhi. Peace Of Mind Knit is essentially run out of this house, so it doesn’t have that corporate office vibe at all. It’s more of a lived-in space where knitting and business happen side by side. We have our machines and yarn scattered around in the rooms we use for work. Pitampura is a busy residential hub, and Anand Vihar is one of those places where everyone seems to know their neighbors. We’ve been here for a while, and the house has slowly filled up with all the things we need to keep the business going. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the boxes and supplies, but it’s our maze. The street outside is usually lined with parked cars and people walking their dogs. We don’t have a big neon sign out front, just the house number. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking for the specific house. Inside, it’s usually humming with the sound of work, though we do take our quiet moments too. The light in the morning is quite good for seeing the different colors of the thread. It’s a simple, honest way to run things, and we like the comfort of being in a real house. We just do our work, pack our orders, and get through the daily list of things that need doing.
