Yana Spray Painting

Working in Mangol Puri Industrial Area means there is always a lot of noise and dust around. Our shop, Yana Spray Painting, is tucked away in Shop No 84 over in C Block, Phase 2. If you walk down this lane, you will probably smell the thinners and paint before you see our door. We deal with all sorts of metal parts and frames that need a fresh coat. It is messy work. My overalls are covered in different shades of grey and blue from the last few weeks. The compressor runs most of the day, making that steady thumping sound. We have to be careful with the masks because the fumes are strong. Sometimes we are doing car panels, and other times it is just industrial bits that nobody sees once they are installed. It gets really hot in Phase 2 during the summer months, especially when we are working near the drying area. We have been in this spot for years now. People in the industrial area know us as the place that actually finishes things on time, or at least tries to. We don't have a fancy office. There is just a desk with some old invoices and a couple of chairs for when customers wait. We just focus on getting the paint even and making sure the surface is prepped right so it does not peel off later. It is simple, hard work and we just do it every day.
