Vijay Sales

Our place at Pitampura D-2 is where we spend most of our days. It is a Vijay Sales branch, but here in D-2, it feels more like a local shop because we see the same faces all the time. The floor is usually busy with people looking at fridges or trying out new phones. We try to keep the place tidy, but with kids running around and people testing the buttons on everything, it is a constant job. The staff here is a mix of young kids who know everything about apps and older guys like me who understand how a washing machine actually works. We are not into that high-pressure selling stuff you see in movies. We just stand around and wait for someone to ask a question. If we do not have what they want in stock, we just tell them that. Pitampura is a lively area, and being at D-2 puts us right in the thick of it. The parking outside can be a nightmare on weekends, so we usually tell our friends to come on a Tuesday if they can. We have a small staff room in the back where we eat our lunch and complain about the heat. It is just a regular retail job, really. We like it when a customer leaves happy because they got a good deal on a microwave they actually needed. That is about all there is to it. We just open the doors and see who comes in.
