Vastu Architects

Vastu Architects is located at 56 Nimre Colony in Ashok Vihar. This part of Delhi feels a bit different than the more commercial hubs because it’s a residential colony. Our office is basically a ground floor space where we keep all our drafting tools and computer setups. It’s a bit quiet around here, which helps when we need to focus on complicated drawings or structural details. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the neighbors know us by now. The room is usually filled with the sound of fans and the occasional clicking of mice. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just a few chairs for when people stop by to discuss their projects. Sometimes the street gets narrow with parked cars, but that is just how it is in Ashok Vihar. We spend our days sketching out ideas and checking measurements on the screen. It is a very practical setup. There are always rolls of blueprints sitting on the side tables and a lot of empty tea glasses by the end of the afternoon. We like being in a colony because it feels more personal than a big office building. It’s just us doing our work, day in and day out, trying to get the lines right on the page. The light in the office is okay, but we usually keep the desk lamps on during the winter months.
