Vashist Ayurvedic Clinic

Vashist Ayurvedic Clinic is part of the Mahalaxmi Apartment complex at C5 in Rama Vihar. Since it is in an apartment building, it feels more like a home than an office. We have bags of herbs and different oils stored in the back rooms. The smell of the powders is very strong, so you can usually tell you are in the right place before you even see the door. People from Rama Vihar come in to ask about joint pains or stuff like that. We spend a lot of time grinding things up and mixing different mixtures. The furniture is mostly wood and it is a bit worn out at the edges. I usually start the day by cleaning the jars and checking the stock of leaves we have. It is a small operation with only a couple of us working at a time. The neighbors in the apartment building sometimes pop their heads in to say hello. It is not a place with shiny machines or loud noises. We just have a desk and some stools for people to sit on while we talk to them. The lighting is a bit dim in the hallway but the main room gets some sun in the morning. People seem to like that it is tucked away inside the residential area because it is easy for them to reach. We just keep doing our thing every day at C5.
