University Of Delhi

We are tucked away at C4/106 B on Lawrence Road, working for the University Of Delhi. This isn't the main gate you see in the movies; it's a practical office space used for various university tasks. The area around Lawrence Road is busy with all kinds of trade and residential buildings. Our space is filled with desks, old wooden cabinets, and piles of documents that need sorting. We spend our days answering phones and filling out ledgers. It's a bit of a walk from the nearest metro, but we've gotten used to it. The office has a very lived-in feel, with tea stains on the coasters and calendars from three years ago still on the walls. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We deal with a lot of different people, from students to vendors. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the right papers get to the right departments. We don't have any fancy mission statements posted on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home. The light in the office isn't great, but we make do. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Delhi. We just try to keep things organized and help out whenever someone has a question about university matters. There’s always someone coming in with a form to be signed. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the pile.
