The Cakewoks Llp

The Cakewoks Llp is a small operation we run out of flat number 41 in Amardeep Apartment. It’s located in Sector 9, in the North West part of Delhi. Since we are in a residential building, it feels a lot different than a shop on a main road. Most of our time is spent in the kitchen, obviously, dealing with flour and ovens. We started this because we actually liked baking, but now it’s a lot of timing orders and making sure the delivery guys don't drop the boxes on their way down the stairs. It’s just a few of us here, and sometimes the place gets a bit messy when we’re busy. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy storefront. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or by seeing us carry supplies into the building. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice, but the kitchen gets pretty hot during the summer months. We try to keep things simple and just focus on making things that taste okay and look decent. It’s a lot of trial and error, and sometimes a batch doesn't turn out right, so we have to start over. We aren't some giant bakery chain. We’re just people in an apartment in Sector 9 trying to make a go of this business. It’s tiring, but it’s what we do for now.
