The Book Shop

The Book Shop is located over in Mukherjee Nagar, which is a place almost everyone in Delhi associates with students and exams. We are in Bhandari House, at shop number 2, A-35/36. If you are looking for us, we are right behind Batra Cinema and right next to the Mukherjee Nagar Post Office. It is a very busy neighborhood, especially during the day when all the coaching centers are in full swing. Our shop is usually filled with students looking for specific textbooks or study materials. We keep things pretty informal here. There is no corporate dress code or fancy sales talk. It is mostly just us helping folks find the right edition of a book or checking if something new has arrived in stock yet. Being near the post office means there is always a lot of movement outside, and Batra Cinema is a big landmark that everyone knows. The shop itself is packed with shelves, and sometimes things get a bit dusty, but that’s just how it goes when you have thousands of books in one place. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We see the same faces coming in year after year as they go through their studies. It’s a practical kind of place. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern; we just want to be the shop where you can actually find what you need without a fuss.
