At Swastik Velvet Industries, we operate from 26, Rajasthani Udyog Nagar on G.T.K. Road. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect any quiet gardens or fancy cafes nearby. Our space is mostly functional, built for work rather than looking good for visitors. There’s a lot of machinery noise coming from the neighbors, and we have our own sounds too. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the floor shows the wear and tear of all those years. We keep our tools and materials organized enough to find them, though it might look like a mess to someone else. It's a small crew of us here. We mostly just wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to. There’s no dress code or anything like that. If the roof leaks a little during a heavy storm, we just put a bucket under it and keep going. That’s the practical way we handle things. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with an old computer and a telephone that rings more than we’d like. We don't spend money on advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours. We just take care of the daily tasks and head home when the sun goes down. It's an honest living.
