Superex Fire Engineers

Our workshop, Superex Fire Engineers, is right in the middle of Wazirpur Industrial Area at C-6/1. If you know where the Merry Maker Banquet Hall is, we are directly opposite that. It’s a good landmark because people always get lost in these industrial blocks. We deal with fire safety equipment, so our place is full of red cylinders and rolls of hose. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend our days refilling extinguishers and checking valves. There is always a layer of that yellow powder on something, no matter how much we sweep. The shop is a bit old, but it’s sturdy. We have a couple of workbenches that have seen better days, but they still work for what we need. Most of us here have been doing this for a long time. We can tell you the pressure of a tank just by looking at the gauge from across the room. It’s a small team, just a handful of us making sure everything is up to code. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone comes in, they usually just talk to us over the counter while we’re working. We take our time to make sure things are done right because you can't mess around with fire equipment. It’s a serious job but we try to have a bit of a laugh while we work to keep things light. That is just how we manage to get through the busy weeks.
