Sumi Expo

Our place, Sumi Expo, is located at Bp 131 in Pitampura. It’s a residential and commercial mix around here, which keeps things interesting. We operate out of a relatively small space that is usually filled to the ceiling with boxes and packing materials. Being in the export business means there’s always something being wrapped or labeled. Pitampura is a busy part of town, and we’ve gotten used to the noise of the traffic nearby. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for years. Our desks are covered in shipping documents and customs forms. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in paper, but we manage to keep it all straight. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. We’d rather just have good tape and sturdy boxes. The lights in here are a bit dim, but we know where everything is. We take our lunches together most days, usually ordering from one of the local spots nearby. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when we have a big deadline. But we enjoy the process of getting things ready to go out. It is a practical business for practical people. We keep a calendar on the wall marked with all the sailing dates and flight times for our shipments.
