Shree Shyam Premi Sarai Rohilla Foundation

We operate out of House No 18/110, right in Gali No 8 in East Moti Bagh, Sarai Rohilla. It is a real local spot, right in the middle of where people live and work. Being in a residential area means we see our neighbors every single day when we step outside. We have been here for quite a long time, and the house itself has seen a lot of activity over the years. We started this foundation because we wanted to do something for the people living right around us. It is not a big corporate office with glass walls; it is just a regular house where we have set up some tables and chairs to get things done. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when people come by to visit or ask for help with something. We try to keep the front door open as much as we can. The street outside is always noisy with kids playing and people heading off to their jobs. We have grown quite fond of the background noise. Our work is pretty straightforward—we see something that needs doing and we try to do it. We don't have fancy equipment, just our hands and a bit of spare time. Sometimes we run out of room for all the things we want to store, but we make it work somehow. It feels good to be right here where people can reach us.
